Administrative Security Specialist 

Location : Doral, Florida 
Clearance : TS/SCI

Job Responsibilities 

  • Provide security administrative task in support of the overall Command Security Program.

  • Provide assistance drafting and reviewing policy memos, plans, SOPs and other guidance based on the Commander's and DoD directives.

  • Prepare staff packages in support of the Command Security Program and tracking-staffing actions for the duration of the process.

  • Coordinate  with Branch Chiefs and NCOICs on a daily basis with regards to the scheduling of Security activities.

  •  Assist with maintaining security personnel rosters, recall rosters, leave/TDY tracker, accountability rosters, organizational charts, and executive-level/DV mission briefings.

  • Assist with drafting, assigning, and tracking internal security taskers; review external taskers, and assist with assigning and tracking to  completion. 

  • Provide security assistance with integrating foreign partners into headquarters staff.

  • Coordinate with physical, information, personnel, and cyber security staff to identify requirements for integration while preventing unauthorized disclosure.

  • Assist Headquarters with drafting and establishing security SOPs and training to integrate foreign partners. 

  • Customize procedures and training to adhere to physical security standards, access controls, and storage requirements to prevent unauthorized disclosure to classified and controlled unclassified information.

  • Coordinate with foreign disclosure to synchronize security procedures and training with foreign disclosure procedures and training to prevent conflict and contradicitng guidance .  

  • Provide assistance with security briefings, security agreements, in-person to educate foreign partners on headquarters security policies and procedures and their responsibilities and reporting requirements.

Job Requirements 

  • Must possess a current DoD Top Secret (TS) Clearance (Interim acceptable) based upon a Tier 5 Investigation adjudicated within the past five (5) years with a determination of eligibility access for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

  • Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma. An Associate Degree is preferable.

  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience providing administrative security support.

  • Must be proficient using the DoD personnel security system of record (e.g.JPAS,DISS, etc.) and Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP).

  • Must have general knowledge and perspective of the operational, procedural and technical standards that achieve interoperability with other non-DoD Federal Government agencies.

  • Must have working knowledge of the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Architecture framework (e.g., SIPR, NIPR and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications Systems (JWICS) networks), and the Information Technology (IT)/Cybersecurity rules and regulatory authorities to develop and implement policies and planning concepts, and project management methods. 

  • Must be proficient using basic Microsoft Office software applications to include SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
