
Physical Security Hardware Specialist
Location : Doral, Florida

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the ESS and CCTV network maintenance and assist in troubleshooting of facilities due to issues caused by others.

Sustain and maintain all ESS and CCTV network infrastructure from all base provided communications infrastructure demarcation point to all ESS and CCTV downstream devices as well as contractor leased lines.

Install (in accordance with ESS installation federal and local policies) maintaining, and assist with the procurement of all Physical Security Equipment (PSE), ESS, and CCTV components to include but not limited to: Series X-09/10 cyber locks, biometric and non-biometric access controls, cameras, and all other components required to operate headquarters; conduct installation of ESS devices compatible with current ESS infrastructure.

Provide input to establish and implement methods of procuring and storining a 20& inventory of all critical ESS products.

Must submit accountability reports regarding inventory.

Maintain current suitable databases of ESS components to include inventory of ACS readers, ESS IT equipment, X-09, CDX, X-10 electronic locks, Simplex 1000 series locks and Cipher locks.

Conduct testing of ESS devices; testing include Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Balance magnetic Switches (BMS), and Motion Detectors for all secure spaces and SCIFs.

Troubleshoot, repair, or replace inoperable ESS devices.

Respond to critical ESS failures after duty hours, on holidays, or weekends as needed to maintain the integrity and accreditation and certification of DoD classified information processing areas.

Develop and establish a system to track maintenance agreement with all software and hardware components.
Job Requirements

Must possess a current DoD Top Secret (TS) Clearance (Interim acceptable) based upon a Tier 5 Investigation adjudicated within the past five (5) years with a determination of eligibility access for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

Must possess an Associate Degree or have five (5) years of specialized experience performing physical security support services.

Must have an OnGuard Lenel Certified Associate (LCA)-Core Certification. Additionally, an OnGuard Lenel Certified Professional in one of the following areas of concentration: LCP-Intrusion, LCP-Specific Database, or LCP-Access) is preferred.

Preferable certified in Lenel (LGE-Core, LGE-Access, and LGE-Enterprise ).

Must be able to lift 50lbs and climb a ladder. Must be familiar with UL Standards.

Must have direct knowledge and application of DoD governing laws, regulations, precedents, and directives supporting security program (e.g. information, personnel, physical, industrial) and operational, procedural and technical standards that achieve interoperability with other non-DoD Federal Government Agencies.

Must have working knowledge using Records Message Traffic (RMT) and the Automated Message Handling System (AMHS).

Must have knowledge of the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) and Department of Defense( DoD) Enterprise Architecture framework (e.g. SIPR, NIPR and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications Systems (JWICS) networks), and the Information Technology (IT)/ Cyber security rules and regulatory authorities to develop and implement policies and planning concepts, and project management methods.

Must have general knowledge and perspective of the operational, procedural and technical standards that achieve interoperability with other non-DoD Federal Government agencies.

Must be proficient using basic Microsoft Office software applications to include SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
